General Practice Information
I was born and raised in the Detroit area. I received my B.A. from Michigan State University in 1973. Afterwards, I moved to Pittsburgh and attended Duquesne University, where I earned an M.A. and then a Ph.D. in Psychology.
In my private practice, I work with clients of all ages - including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. The issues my clients bring are quite diverse, ranging from anxiety and depression to marital problems and situational stressors of all kinds. My working approach is eclectic, focusing on solutions rather than simply on causes. My clients set the goals. My work is to help them achieve those goals.
