Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Services

Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Service (BHRS), also known as wraparound service, is a program designed to help children and their families who are experiencing problems at home, in school, or in the community at NO COST to the family. It is a child-centered and family-focused therapy, which means both the child and the family have direct input into the process.
Dr. Bodnar has provided wraparound services to children and families in Beaver and Butler counties for over 16 years.

Psychotherapy Services of Cranberry offers these wraparound services in the most consistent and professional manner possible and would be happy to provide these services to you.

To Receive Wraparound Services

  • Your child will need to have an evaluation and recommendation from a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist
  • With your permission, this evaluation is sent to the County Designee
  • Your family and any treatment team members will be in contact to set up an Inter-agency Service Planning Team (ISPT) meeting
  • During the meeting, we will discuss your child’s strengths and needs as well as the recommendations of the psychologist or psychiatrist. Once the team is in agreement with the wraparound recommendation, you will be asked to choose an agency to provide the service

Wraparound services are provided by Therapeutic Staff Support, Mobile Therapists, and Behavioral Specialist Consultants.

Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS)

Provides direct one-on-one support to a child or adolescent in the home, the community, or an educational setting! Specific TSS duties include modifying negative behavior through structured activities, crisis intervention techniques, emotional support, and any additional psychological rehabilitative activities as prescribed in the treatment plan.

All TSS are trained in providing de-escalation techniques when necessary and passive restraint. Contact Psychotherapy Services of Cranberry today!

Mobile Therapist (MT)

Provides intensive therapeutic services to a child or adolescent in a setting other than an agency or office! Therapy is administered in accordance to the specific needs of each child.

Behavioral Specialist Consultant

Designs and directs the implementation of the individualized treatment plan for the child or adolescent. The BSC also provides expertise in behavioral management techniques when needed and maintains contact with the child and family. The BSC’s normal role is to provide consultation, assessment, and monitoring of the treatment plan.
